NACS Foundation Installs New Board Members

OBERLIN, OHIO.March 24, 2016 — The NACS Foundation announced the installation of its new president, president-elect, and three new directors to the 2016-2017 board during CAMEX , the annual convention and trade show National Association of College Stores (NACS).

Tom Hoffa , VP of channel partnerships, Pearson, Chanhassen, Minn, is the newly-elected president for 2016-17. Hoffa succeeds Melanie Sparks, CCR, executive director, institutional support services, University of New Mexico Bookstore, Albuquerque, N.M., who is now the Foundation’s Immediate Past President.

Deanna Casterton , director, Luther Book Shop, Luther College-Decorah, Decorah, Iowa was installed as president-elect.

Newly installed directors are J Bryson Baker , manager, OrangeTech, University Store, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Okla.; Cary Caldwell , director, Gardner-Webb University Campus Shop, Boiling Springs, N.C.; and Chris Przybylski, CCR , operations manager, Ozarks Tech Community College Bookstore, Ozarks Technical Community College, Springfield, Mo.

Directors remaining on the NACS Foundation board are Steve Arnold , Fishers, Ind.; Julie Banks, CCR , university retail operations manager, University of Dayton Bookstore, Dayton, Ohio; Tracy Dyal, CCR , manager, Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Bookstore, Tifton, Ga.; Sonda Ropp Reinartz , territory manager, Follett, Westchester, Ill.; and Paul A. Wright, MBA, CCR , assistant manager, Northern Michigan University Bookstore, Marquette, Mich.
