NACS Announces New Officers and Trustees

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

OBERLIN, OHIO (July 31, 2026)—The National Association of College Stores (NACS), the leading professional trade association representing the campus store industry, has installed officers and new trustees on the Board of Trustees.


Clay Ludlow, director of retail services at the Cedarville University Campus Store in Cedarville, OH, has taken on the role of president of the NACS Board of Trustees. Clay has served as an elected member of the NACS Board of Trustees since 2022. Additional NACS volunteer work includes serving on the PartnerShip Board of Directors for the past year and on the NACS Course Materials and Academic Resources Advisory Council (2017-19). He also served as a member and officer of the Ohio Association of College Stores (2017-24), now the Great Lakes Association of College Stores with Illinois and Michigan.


Ludlow takes on the role vacated by Gilberto Garcia, manager of the Southwestern Campus Store at Southwestern Community College District in Chula Vista, CA, who transitions to the role of immediate past president. 


Gavin Jensen, director, Wildcat Store, Weber State University-Ogden, Utah, was selected as the president-elect.


The terms for these officers will conclude on June 30, 2027. 


In addition to the officers, NACS installed the Board of Trustees, who will serve three-year terms:

Brian Wright, Volshop, University of Tennessee, Knoxville
