OUP Inventory-in-Place Program Underway
The Oxford University Press Inventory-in-Place program allows stores to keep unsold fall titles that have been adopted for the spring semester and defer payment until January 2015. To qualify, a store must send its regular October payments with a debit memo or chargeback listing titles being held for the following term that includes the ISBN, quantity, and corresponding invoice numbers. Deduct the total value from the October payment and indicate “Inventory-in-Place” on the debit memo, which will be identified on the next monthly statement with a payable date of Jan. 31, 2015.
Only stock purchased from OUP after June 1, 2014, for the fall rush is eligible for this offer. All requests are subject to credit approval, which must be obtained in advance from the OUP credit department.  Payment for the in-place inventory is due by Jan. 31, and late payments will be subject to interest from the date of the original invoice.
The value of the titles held will apply towards the store’s credit limit. OUP reserves the right to verify inventory listed in the bookstore and to refuse Inventory-in-Place requests sent with payments after Oct. 31, 2014.
For more information about the Inventory-in-Place program, contact the OUP credit department at (800) 732-3120.
