The NACS Foundation provides funding for a number of surveys and research services to further educate NACS members and vendors and offer tools for personal career development and store and company expansion.
All research published by the NACS Foundation is conducted by Collegiate Research Services (CRS). CRS, the NACS custom market research division, assists vendors in penetrating the college market with a variety of quantitative and qualitative student and store research.

College Store Salary & Benefits Survey 2007
Based on 2005/2006, is a practical study containing the latest data on industry compensation practices-a must-have as you prepare for your next raise request, design a new employee position, upgrade an existing job, or compare your present position with similar college store roles. The survey results are based on data from 1,587 stores.
Participating stores are able to purchase a customized store profile that displays in side-by-side format the store's salaries with those of campus retailers that are similar in store and school type, sales volume, and other demographic traits.
