New Names and Organizational Changes
- PPI Wholesale Office Supplies will close this fall after 40 years in business, with most of its assets being purchased by S.P. Richards Co. A release from PPI indicated the company would maintain full inventory and support for back-to-school reorders through mid-October.
- Broward Community College, Davie, FL, has changed its name to Broward College.
New Positions and Promotions
- CQ Press hired Ronald Parisi as national sales manager for its reference information group, servicing schools, libraries, and businesses. Previously, Parisi was national sales manager, medical markets, at ProQuest.
