New Names and Organizational Changes

New Positions and Promotions
- Pelican Products has named Matt Miller as director of sales for the commercial division, and Scott Jones as the director of sales for national accounts. Miller previously was a Pelican Products factory sales representative. Before joining Pelican Products, Jones was vice president of Dive 'N Surf Inc., where he expanded multiple retail outlets.
- Pete Eisentrager is the new manager of the UMKC Bookstore, University of Missouri-Kansas City. In January, Eisentrager joined the store as book division manager. Prior to that, he was manager of Park University Bookstore, Parkville, MO.
Retirements
- Anne Brenneman has retired as manager from Tabor College Bookstore, Hillsboro, KS. Brenneman worked for 22 years at the bookstore, and prior to that worked for seven years in the Tabor College cafeteria office.
Condolences
- Dan Frank, marketing director of J. Jacobs and Co., died at the age of 77. Frank lived in Buffalo Grove, IL, and was a Korean War U.S. Army Veteran. He was active in the Wisconsin Association of College Stores as a vendor member. J. Jacobs and Co. is a vendor for a variety of goods, including bags, jewelry, and games.
- Rick Nash, territory manager with MBS Textbook Exchange, died at age 54 after a lengthy illness. Nash formerly managed the Lynchburg College Bookstore at Lynchburg College, his alma mater. He also was instrumental in forming the Virginia College Stores Association. Nash lived in Forest, VA.
His family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Central Regional Cancer Center, 1920 Atherhold Road, Lynchburg, VA 24501; the Awareness Garden Foundation, P.O. Box 3231 Lynchburg, VA 24503; or a charity of your choice. Thoughts may be shared with the family at www.heritagefuneralandcremation.com.
