Metro Transit
The Light Rail trains run every 7-8 minutes to/from the airport to downtown Minneapolis during peak hours and every 10-15 minutes at other times of the day. From MSP Airport, trains can take you to downtown Minneapolis in about 25 minutes. There is a Light Rail station located .10 of a mile away from the Minneapolis City Center. Light Rail fares are $2.00 during rush hours (Mon.-Fri., 6:00-9:00 a.m. and 3:00-6:30 p.m.) and $1.50 at other times. Tickets are sold at vending kiosks at the rail station.
