NACS Foundation Announces New Branding Campaign
Torchlight | Spring 2008
You're invited! After a very successful 25th Anniversary campaign, one of my goals for the year is to segue the NACS Foundation from an endowment campaign into a sustainable year-round giving and awareness campaign. The NACS Foundation is very excited to announce our new campaign and invite you to become one of the many "I Am" team members.
The "I Am" campaign is designed to illustrate to members the variety of ways the NACS Foundation is serving the NACS community and asks for their support of its mission and purpose through unique opportunities. Whether it's as a Volunteer (Board/committee), a Donor (endowment/annual giving), a Partner (special event sponsorships), or as a recipient of the Foundation's good work through Innovation, Knowledge (education), Information (research), or a grant recipient, there is a number of ways to get involved and give back to the industry's charitable resource.
The NACS Foundation desires to better connect with NACS members while also increasing awareness of its quality educational, research, and professional development grant programs. Furthermore, new marketing and communication initiatives that will launch with this campaign will enhance the value proposition of the Foundation and thus aid us in our development activities.
The "I Am" program creates an institutional identity consistent with the Foundation's mission and purpose, and engages members in its efforts within the industry, allowing us to identify a core base of members to encompass our existence, increase member participation and financial support, and build awareness that the NACS Foundation is the only philanthropic charity within the collegiate retailing industry.
This month we are mailing to all NACS members a capabilities brochure of all the Foundation events and programs it supports, and most importantly, how you can get involved. The success of the NACS Foundation depends on the commitment and dedication of NACS members to volunteer their time and talent. Whether you receive financial assistance for a professional development grant, share your marketing skills with the Marketing Committee, select the winner of the next Innovation Achievement Award, serve on the NACS Foundation Board of Directors, or secure partnerships for CAMEX fundraising events, the Foundation offers a variety of committees to select from to suit your philanthropic calling.
The NACS Foundation is extending a personal invitation to you to join us and become one of the many "I Am" team members. We are ready to inspire you to become the next "I Am." R.S.V.P. to DeAnn Hazey by e-mail at dhazey@nacs.org or call (800) 622-7498, ext. 2286, to get started.
