I Am the NACS Foundation
The NACS Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the National Association of College Stores. In 1982, a group of visionary industry leaders created the NACS Foundation, then known as the College Stores Research & Educational Foundation (CSREF), to permanently endow education, professional development and program grants and research activities for the college store industry.

As a 501 (c)(3) public charity, the NACS Foundation provides valuable industry data through its research projects, funds the development and attendance at industry-specific educational programs along with sponsoring think tanks, symposia and forums to bring industry partners together to address critical industry challenges.
The NACS Foundation is funded primarily through donations, sponsorships and grants from companies and individuals in our industry. The Foundation's activities are coordinated by an elected Board of Directors with input from project task forces and committees.

Mission
The NACS Foundation supports initiatives that make NACS education programs accessible to a wider range of professionals, enables research that addresses issues of fundamental importance to the college store industry and builds strategic partnerships in support of the National Association of College Stores.
